Math strand

Today i did some math strand the math strand was bar graph. The bar graph i did was eye coluor i did this last week with Miss Gosline homeroom. We got a bar graph for Miss Gosline i cod do it in my math book.

The seven stars Matariki

We looked a photo to the 7 stars of Matariki. WE talked about polygons. Polygons are shapes. Triangle square rectangle circle diamond hexagon heart star octagon pentagon heptagon semi- circle. we had to use the position of the stars to create different shapes. The most simple polygon I made was triangle. The most complex or difficult polygon I made was i not now.

Today i had to make a cube tower you have to red blue and yellow you have to make six different tower it was easy to do it.

Oink and Cluck

today we had to work something called Oink and Cluck we had to find out how much legs there were and how much pigs and chicken there were and we had to show different ways had to use addition,skip counting and multiplication. Me and my buddy Arie first we did skip counting we kept counting until we have 26 legs because 36 legs were how many were on the question. We add up all of the leg and got 6 pegs and 6 chicken. Next we wanted to try  adding we wrote 4+4+4+4+4 it equaled  20 pegs and that   2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2=16 legs so there we 5 pigs and 8 chicken. Affer that me and Arie try  multiplication we found out 6x4=24 pig legs and that 2x6=12 chicken legs and there were 6 pigs and 6 chicken. last of all we did multiplication again tried 5x4 and that equaled 20 legs and that 8x2=16 chicken legs so there were 5 pigs and 8 chickens.

gorps homes

today i did some independent work. i had to put nice homes into even gorps i put them into 3 gorps of 3.

four colours

today i did a therm cord four colours i had to get two red one,two green, two blue, two yellow. then i had to make a cube with them.

what one dose not belong

We have been learning about numbers and their place value. We went on a tad ll and look no a TV we look at some numbers and find out what one is it .What Dose not belong? ask people please lever your answer in the comments.

Triangle puzzle

We have been learning about tessellation. Today I made a triangle out of 9 little triangles. It was soooo hard making it. I made it a few times but didn't get the top one right. I kept on trying and then I did it!
