Understanding song lyrics

In Literary we have been learning about the nearing of song lyrics. We listened to two songs , they were treasures by Bruno mars and man in the mirror By Michael Jackson. We discussed and brainstormed the song title meanings. We then looked at the lyrics and what they meant. Treasure By Bruno Mars is about Bruno Mars like a girl. Man in the mirror by Michael Jackson is about holiday.

in writing we are learning to create ideas. first we brainstormed as a class what bugs us. we asked Mr m what bugged him Mrs mg then gave us 8 minutes to quickly write our ideas down.

 In Reading we are learning to be good readers. In reading I have been learning how to predict. I use my prior knowledge and clues from the picture or text to  predict. I had to use my prior knowledge about being alone in forest and clues from the picture to predict what would happen hext.
